COP 29; CALL TO ACTION! “Loss is Real, Support is Mandatory”

At COP29, we organized a powerful action under this theme to advocate for loss and damage funding for frontline communities. Those on the frontlines of the climate crisis—like indigenous and pastoralist communities—are losing their homes, livelihoods, and ways of life due to a crisis they contributed least to.

This action was a bold call to world leaders:
👉 Pay up for the losses and damages experienced by vulnerable communities.
👉 Act with urgency to deliver climate justice where it’s needed most.

The time for promises is over. It’s time for action, accountability, and support for those bearing the brunt of the climate crisis.

COP 29; ADVOCACY- Launch of Climate justice Song-Esipata Oloing’ang’e

This is our #ClimateJustice project! What do you think?

To raise awareness about #ClimateJustice, we’re exploring creative approaches that resonate with the youth—like music concerts!  And to make it even more exciting, our #ClimateJustice anthem in the local Maasai dialect, performed by @leshao_leshao_, was a highlight of the event!

Our #ClimateJustice song is more than music—it’s a call to action!

We amplify the voices of frontline communities fighting for justice, demanding TRILLIONS  (not just billions!) in climate finance to address the urgent needs of those most affected by the crisis.

Together, we stand for equity, solidarity, and bold action!

We’re gearing up to take our advocacy to the next level in the coming year—stay tuned!

ADVOCACY; SASAL at The Maa Cultural Week in Samburu

We are in Samburu County for the Annual Maa Cultural festival!!! This event brings together all the Maasai communities and other pastoralists communities to celebrate their culture In a bid to preserve and re-ignite.

Culture holds the key to sustainable climate solutions but is on the other hand greatly endangered by #climatechange .  By embracing the values and traditional knowledge of communities, we can craft climate strategies that are inclusive, effective, and rooted in harmony with nature.

Let’s honor and integrate cultural wisdom in our fight for a resilient planet.
